Howdy!
My name is William Beeler, and I’m an Award winning, Laravel Certified Senior Web Developer with experience in university/college web development, government work, Fortune 500 companies and much more. I’ve spent the bulk of my career in the North Carolina area where I lived for about 11 years. I’ve since moved to the Oklahoma area and continue to work remote.
Education
For educational experience, I had the pleasure of attending Cedarville University, and the Academy of Art University Online. I love development, but I also had a desire for artistic things like drawing, photography, computer graphics and more, and I got the pleasure to study those things in college. I learned a lot and I will be presenting those works on this website.
Early Life
I was born and raised in Columbus, Ohio. I grew up on the westside of town around Trabue Rd. where I went to church and school. Faith was an important part of my life, and has guided me throughout my life. That faith’s birthplace is Columbus. I am humbled by the folks that have poured their lives and hearts into my life, and hope to show them some return on that investment.
Interests
I love listening to music (80s, Folk, Synthwave, Hymns, and more), doing artistic projects with my hands, spending time with my kids, and wife, and enjoying God’s beautiful creation. I love the smell of a wood fire outdoors on a fall night. Did I mention I enjoy video games (classics and new ones alike)? Don’t get me started on the classics.. MegaMan, Castlevania, Zelda, etc. And of course, you have Skyrim, Minecraft, Halo, and the rest. Great scot, Marty!
Ecuador
I lived in Ecuador when I was a teenager, for about a year and a half. My parents were Baptist missionaries there, and I met my eventual wife shortly after getting off the plane (although I obviously didn’t know it yet). We got married in Cuenca, Ecuador, the 3rd largest city, located in the mountains in the south of the country, around Peru.
