Today I officially earned my Acquia Certified Site Builder – Drupal 10 certification, marking another important milestone in my professional development as a web developer. Successfully completing the certification validates my knowledge of Drupal 10 site building and demonstrates my commitment to building secure, scalable, and maintainable digital experiences using one of the world’s leading enterprise content management systems.

Throughout my career, I’ve had the opportunity to work with both WordPress and Drupal, and each platform brings unique strengths to solving complex web challenges. Drupal has long been recognized for its flexibility, powerful content modeling capabilities, and enterprise-grade architecture, making it a popular choice for universities, government agencies, nonprofits, and large organizations.

Preparing for this certification was an excellent opportunity to deepen my understanding of Drupal’s core site-building features. The certification reinforced best practices surrounding content types, taxonomies, views, menus, permissions, media management, layouts, configuration management, and many of the tools that allow developers and site builders to create robust, highly customizable websites.

As someone who enjoys working across multiple content management systems, adding this certification further strengthens my ability to select the right platform for each project while following established development standards and best practices. Continuous learning has always been an important part of my career, and earning this credential is another step toward staying current with the technologies that power today’s modern web.

I’m grateful to Acquia for providing a certification program that encourages developers to continue sharpening their skills and validating their expertise. I’m excited to apply this knowledge to future Drupal projects and continue expanding my experience across the open-source ecosystem.

Here’s to the next certification—and the next opportunity to learn something new.
