Today I’m excited to share that I’ve successfully completed Google’s Foundations of User Experience (UX) Design course through Coursera.

As someone who has spent much of my career building websites, applications, and digital experiences, I’ve always believed that great technology starts with understanding the people who use it. While my background is rooted in web development and software engineering, I wanted to deepen my understanding of the research, design thinking, and user-centered principles that drive exceptional user experiences.

This course introduced core UX concepts including user-centered design, accessibility, empathy-driven problem solving, user research, wireframing, and the design process used by modern product teams. It provided a strong foundation for thinking beyond functionality and focusing on how users interact with and experience digital products.

One of the reasons I chose the Google UX Design Professional Certificate program is that it aligns closely with the type of work I enjoy most: creating intuitive, accessible, and meaningful digital experiences that solve real problems.

This course is the first step in the broader certification program, and I look forward to continuing my studies while applying these principles to my current and future projects.

The best digital products are built where design, usability, and technology meet. I’m excited to continue growing in all three areas.
